Bradford Ekstrom, 50, of Beach Street, Wrentham, died suddenly Oct 11, 2012. He was the beloved partner and companion of Deborah Brown-Nudd with whom he shared a home.
Born in Norwood, August 31, 1962, he was a son of Robert Ekstrom Sr. and the late Caroline (Carlson) Ekstrom. Brad had attended the King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham. After High School, he served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army and in civilian life was a self-employed carpenter by trade.
Bradford loved the outdoors, and enjoyed times spent as an avid fisherman.
In addition to his partner and companion, Brad is additionally survived by his loving father Robert Ekstrom Sr. of Franklin, a dear sister Brenda Nichols of Franklin, and brother Robert Ekstom Jr. of Wyoming. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Brad also shared a close relationship with Deborah Nudd's son Christopher Nudd. He was the beloved master of five loyal Basset Hounds. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Monday at 10 AM in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 PM.
