Sharon I. Nolan

Sharon I. Nolan, 60, of Wrentham, died suddenly on Thursday at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.  She was the beloved wife of Gerard “Jerry” J. Nolan to whom she was married on October 14, 1973.

     She was born in Revere on September 16, 1952, a dear daughter of the late Jeremiah Ahern.  Her childhood was spent in Roslindale, and she was a Class of 1970 Roslindale High School graduate.  After her marriage to Jerry, the couple made Wrentham their home in 1974.

    Sharon was employed as a laboratory assistant with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the State Labs in Jamaica Plain.

     In addition to her devoted husband she leaves her loving children, Eric and his wife Linda Nolan of Wrentham, Nicholas and his wife Megahn Nolan of Franklin, and Colleen Mello of Wrentham, a dear brother Larry Anderson of VA, and sister Maureen Ahern of Natick.  She was the loving grandmother of Liam Nolan, Colin Nolin, and Keith Mello.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews, including Danielle Gravelle, Nicole Gravelle, and Matthew Kelley.

     Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre on Monday from 4-8 PM.  Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 AM, in St. Mary’s Church, 140 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre.  Burial will be in Wrentham Centre Cemetery.

     Donations in her memory may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.

     Arrangements are in the care of Richard J. Ross and the RJ Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.
