Sandra-Lynn Knell

    Sandra-Lynn Knell, 57, of Norfolk, died on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Brian E. Knell, and to whom she was married on October 17, 1981. Born in Brockton on July 22, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Robert O. Henrickson and Carol E. (Cedargren) Henrickson-Salerno. Sandra was the step-daughter of the late Julio “Smiley” Salerno. She was a graduate of Norwell High School and Quinnipiac University. Mrs. Knell was employed as a Cytologist at Quest Diagnostics in Johnston, RI. She was a Member of the Eastern Star, Brockton Chapter 87 at St. George’s Lodge in Brockton. A lover of animals, she loved her two cats dearly. She enjoyed the outdoors, and spent her summers happily in her summer home at the beach in Marion. In addition to her husband she leaves a loving son, Matthew L. Knell of Norfolk, a dear brother Lee R. Henrickson of Brockton, and half brothers John V. Salerno of Norwell and Kurtis Collet of Bridgewater. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre, on Saturday January 19, 2013 from 1-3 PM. Private Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home at a later time. Donations in her memory may be made to Angel Cat Haven, 36 Bacon Street, Plainville, MA 02062. Arrangements are in the care of Richard Ross and the RJ Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.
